Symptoms of a brain tumor depend on its size and location in the brain. When tumors grow within a limited space in the skull, symptoms are often caused by damage to vital tissues and pressure on the brain. Some common brain tumors include seizures, nausea, headaches, and fatigue.

What are the common symptoms of brain tumors? Ruishantang will introduce it to you in detail below.

     1. Fatigue

Feelings of fatigue or lethargy also have a variety of possible causes. In many cases, the cause may be related to psychological state as well as lifestyle. Brain tumors may cause this unusual tiredness because of the large amount of energy required by the cancer cells and the body to fight the disease.

      2. Headache

Headaches are a common symptom of brain tumors. As the tumor grows larger, it also puts pressure on other brain tissues. If headaches suddenly become more frequent, the likelihood of a brain tumor increases.

      3. Deterioration of vision

Blurred vision is often caused by eye disease, and even then it should be checked. If your vision begins to become blurry and interferes with normal life, making it difficult to read or watch movies, it may be a sign of a brain tumor.

    4. Epileptic seizures

Seizures may also be symptoms of brain tumors. In more severe cases, patients may lose consciousness during a seizure and their body may twitch uncontrollably. Sometimes a seizure occurs in the brain, during which the person is unable to speak or control their limbs until the seizure ends.

      5. Loss of control over the body

Brain tumors may cause patients to lose control of their bodies, affecting movement and daily life. For example, patients may lose their sense of balance and may fall. Sometimes they may not be able to coordinate body movements or control facial muscles. This usually occurs on one side or area of the body, depending on the area of the brain where the tumor is present, and examination can further determine the location and size of the tumor.

    6. Feeling sick

Nausea is a common symptom of many diseases, and many milder diseases may also cause nausea. However, if the patient’s nausea worsens in the morning, or if the patient often feels nauseous when he cannot eat for no reason, then he may have a brain tumor.

     7. Affect speech function

The location of a brain tumor determines the damage to brain function, and tumors in the brainstem can affect the ability to speak. If you suddenly have difficulty speaking and there is no way to change it quickly, you need to see a doctor in time. It is most likely caused by a brain tumor.

     8. Affects memory

If a brain tumor affects the temporal lobe, it may impair the patient’s ability to remember information. In addition to memory loss, patients may also have trouble concentrating and their analytical skills may be reduced.

    9. Personality changes

If a brain tumor develops in the frontal lobe, it may trigger certain changes in personality. These may manifest as unusual patterns of behavior, or changes in thinking that deviate from the person’s previous way of thinking. If there are sudden changes in a family member’s behavior or way of thinking, be sure to pay attention because this may be the cause of a brain tumor.

Brain tumors generally develop very slowly, and patients rarely have symptoms in their initial stages. Symptoms occur when a tumor begins to put pressure on the brain, which affects the brain’s function in specific areas. Because various parts of the brain have different roles, symptoms vary depending on where the disease occurs.
