    The tongue plays a fundamental role in a variety of activities including swallowing, breathing, speaking, and chewing. Moreover, its effect is not limited to the mouth, but also affects breathing and posture of the head and neck and even the whole body.

    It means that there are obvious cracks on the tongue , either vertical or horizontal. You need to pay attention to the spleen and stomach. Many tongues with gastritis look like this.

    It is more common in children , also called “geographic tongue”, which is related to the spleen and stomach (congenital deficiency + improper feeding)
