Expectant mothers all hope their children will be intelligent and healthy. So, besides genetic factors , what else can influence the baby in the womb? What foods are good for a baby’s intelligence during pregnancy? These are must-have foods!

    Black fungus

Pregnant women can better obtain the necessary nutrients for their fetus by consuming healthy foods from their daily lives, rather than by taking supplements. We also recommend that pregnant women consume black fungus during pregnancy. Black fungus contains a high amount of gelatinous substance, which helps regulate the digestive system. Black fungus also has brain-boosting effects.

    Seafood

Fetal brain development requires various trace elements . During pregnancy, we also recommend that pregnant women consume seafood in moderation. However, some high-protein seafood may trigger allergies. Pregnant women should familiarize themselves with their own constitution before consuming seafood to prevent allergic reactions. Seafood contains elements such as calcium, phosphorus, and iron, which are very helpful for brain and nerve development. Pregnant women should certainly consume these brain-boosting foods in moderation.

    Sesame

If a pregnant woman frequently experiences muscle cramps, it may be due to calcium deficiency. We recommend pregnant women eat sesame seeds. Sesame seeds also have a certain effect on digestion. Eating sesame seeds in moderation can also help promote fetal intelligence. Adding a little sesame seeds during cooking is particularly good for replenishing blood and improving brain function.

    Walnut

We often say that the shape of a walnut is somewhat similar to that of our brain. From the perspective of “like cures like,” we recommend that pregnant women eat walnuts in moderation to promote better fetal brain development. Walnuts are rich in nutrients and can enhance the activity of brain nerve cells.

    Red dates

Eating dates in moderation can help women replenish blood. Dates are also rich in folic acid, which is essential for fetal brain development. Adequate folic acid intake during pregnancy can contribute to a smarter baby. Expectant mothers can make date soup; the sweet and sour taste of date soup provides vitamins, which are also essential nutrients for the fetus.

    Quail

During pregnancy, expectant mothers need comprehensive nutrition. However, to ensure optimal fetal brain development, targeted nutritional supplementation is also essential. One such supplement is quail. Quail meat has also been used medicinally. Crucially, quail soup is believed to benefit fetal brain development. Lecithin is necessary for fetal brain development, and quail meat is rich in lecithin .

    Egg

Eggs are one of the most important sources of nutrition for pregnant women, and are very helpful for fetal brain development. Eggs mainly contain the eight essential amino acids , abundant lecithin, as well as calcium, phosphorus, iron, and other minerals. Eating eggs during pregnancy is beneficial for the baby’s brain development.

    Banana

It can help the brain produce serotonin, a chemical that stimulates the nervous system and is very beneficial for brain function. Eat plenty of fresh fruit; bananas are nutritious, but be mindful of the amount you eat so as not to overindulge and affect your appetite for regular meals.

    Corn

Corn is rich in vitamins, which are beneficial for preventing cell oxidation and aging, thus contributing to intellectual development. Corn is also high in fiber, which promotes bowel movements, relieves constipation, and is good for intestinal health, indirectly benefiting intellectual development. Therefore, pregnant women should intentionally include corn in their diet to support fetal brain development.
