Why is my poop green, brown, red ? The reason why feces are brown is that bile in the gallbladder is metabolized by bacteria in the intestines to form stercobilin . Since stercobilin is brown, feces appear brown like tree trunks. Brown feces are a good sign, indicating that your body is relatively healthy.

If you find a “colorful xiang” one day, you must pay attention, because there may be something wrong with your body.

Gray/white stools may indicate gallbladder or pancreas problems

I just mentioned that normal poop contains stercobilin, so it is brown. If there is no stercobilin or the content is low, the poop will be grayish white, which means that there is a problem with
your bile secretion , such as gallstones blocking the bile duct or pancreatic cancer and other more serious symptoms.

    If your stool appears red

Immediate attention should be paid to intestinal health

Sometimes severe internal heat or hemorrhoids can cause blood in the stool. If these two conditions are ruled out, it is likely a sign of intestinal bleeding . However, everyone should pay attention that if the bleeding comes from your stomach or esophagus, the stool will not be red, but black, and the smell will be very unpleasant.

Yellow stool means you have a lot of fat in your stool

For people who have a high-fat diet for a long time, the fat extracted from their feces every day is enough to make a candle (er… you may not be able to look directly at candles in the future). And yellow feces usually have a strong odor. Think about how other people in your family feel, and arrange a combination of meat and vegetables !

Green is not an auspicious color

    The same goes for poop

There are usually two reasons for green stool: one is that there may be a bacterial infection in the intestines . Another situation occurs in vegetarians, eating too much green leafy food can also make the stool turn green.

Feces often smell bad because of the sulfur-rich organic compounds produced by the bacteria, such as indoles , silcarbs, and mercaptans . Another factor is the production of the inorganic gas hydrogen sulfide

People who consume more meat in their daily diet have worse smelling stools than those who consume more vegetables.
