    As the saying goes, “Nine out of ten stomach diseases occur.” The stomach, as an important digestive organ in the human body, is very susceptible to disease.

    However, we often ignore our health as we think it is a common problem for everyone. Even if problems occur, we don’t know how to treat them. As a result, many people become the “successors” of diseases.

    Little do people know that the stomach is the first digestive system in our body to come into contact with the outside world. Therefore, once a certain condition occurs, the stomach is the first to be affected.

    At the same time, the stomach is the first stop for energy and nutrition for the human body. If the first stop is not well controlled, problems will occur in other organs of the body accordingly. These are 10 most stomach-damaging mistakes.

    Talk while eating

    Don’t talk while eating, don’t talk while sleeping, this is an old saying. Now, in order to chew slowly and carefully, we should also avoid talking or swallowing big mouthfuls while eating. Avoid swallowing too much gas, which will cause indigestion.

    At the same time, eating fast can easily cause food to burn the oral and esophageal mucosa.

    Strong taste

    Although grilled or pickled foods taste great, eating them frequently can increase your risk of illness.

    Moreover, high-salt and heavy-tasting foods can aggravate the occurrence of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, and can also damage the protective layer of the gastric mucosa, increasing the probability of lesions.

    Don’t be picky about eating fruit

    Unhygienic diet

    Tips to help you keep a healthy stomach

    Proper self-massage can help improve stomach function, such as self-massage twice a day, morning and evening.

    Put your hands together and massage the upper abdomen in clockwise and counterclockwise directions for 30 to 50 times each. This can improve gastrointestinal motility and immune function.

    Exercise to strengthen the stomach

    The simplest stomach-nourishing exercise takes place in our mouth – use your tongue to stir out saliva and swallow it every morning, which has the effect of promoting saliva production and soothing the stomach.

    Moving your toes can help strengthen your spleen and stomach. You can stand or sit while moving your toes, with your feet flat on the ground, shoulder-width apart.

    The toes should continuously do the gripping and relaxing movements for 60 to 90 times to stimulate the meridians of the feet in alternating tension and relaxation. You can do this movement barefoot or in soft flat shoes, and repeat it several times a day.

    Drink porridge regularly

    Soft and warm porridge is a good food for nourishing the stomach. Drinking porridge once a day is the most economical and simple way.

    According to different groups of people and different physiques, some medicinal materials can be added to the porridge. Coix seed has the effects of strengthening the stomach, eliminating edema, and clearing lung heat.

    Red beans also have obvious effects on strengthening the spleen and stomach. After being boiled into porridge, the nutrients can be fully absorbed without causing burden to the spleen and stomach. You can also add some red dates and wolfberries.

    Eating oatmeal porridge with milk for breakfast can nourish the stomach and spleen; eating millet porridge for dinner can warm the stomach and calm the mind.

    Cabbage is the first choice

    Cabbage is known as a natural “stomach vegetable”. It can promote the secretion of gastric juice and protect the gastric mucosa.

    People with bad stomachs, especially those suffering from gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers , can drink cabbage juice, one cup a day.

    You can also add a small amount of honey to it, which is very helpful in promoting ulcer healing.

    Press and rub Chongyang acupoint

    When your stomach is not in good condition and you often suffer from diarrhea, massaging the Chongyang point for a few minutes will provide relief.
