Gold microneedle radiofrequency is an invasive fractional microneedle radio frequency. Radio frequency is a high-frequency alternating electromagnetic wave. The mechanical effect of microneedles on the skin can also improve the transdermal absorption of topical products.

When radio frequency passes through tissue, the polar molecules in the tissue instantly oscillate rapidly. In this process, the mutual friction produces a thermal effect, stimulating collagen to contract, denature, regenerate and rearrange, thereby achieving the effect of improving wrinkles and tightening the skin.

Secondly, the gold-plated tiny microneedles are insulating needles, and radio frequency will only occur at the needle tip that reaches the dermis. The needle body does not emit radio frequency, so there is no thermal damage to the epidermis. The gold microneedles not only have the thermal stimulation of radio frequency, but there are 49 tiny microneedles in an area of one square centimeter, as well as the mechanical stimulation of the microneedles themselves. This traumatic repair greatly reduces the damage to the skin barrier and accelerates the recovery of the skin surface.

In addition, through comprehensive facial treatment, about 40,000 tiny channels will be left. If some medical nutrients are applied at this time, their absorption will be increased and the introduction effect will be enhanced.

According to the above-mentioned working principles, it is generally used clinically to improve some skin problems:

    1. Enlarged pores

Whether it is compensatory enlargement of pores caused by excessive oil secretion or enlarged pores caused by skin photoaging, gold microneedle treatment can achieve different degrees of improvement. The main principle is that radio frequency can destroy the sebaceous glands and reduce the secretion of sebaceous glands, so that the pores will not expand under continuous high pressure. In addition, in the process of traumatic repair, collagen is increased and its arrangement is reshaped.

    2. Brighten your skin

By stimulating the target treatment area, a layer of new collagen is laid almost all over the dermis of the face. The white collagen can increase the whiteness of the skin and also nourish the skin.

    3. Atrophic skin lesions

It is mainly used to treat acne scars caused by facial acne. It can stimulate collagen and reshape it. Of course, it only improves shallow ice cone-shaped acne scars, and has little effect on roller-shaped and carriage-shaped acne scars. Secondly, stretch marks and superficial scars can be improved through gold microneedle treatment.

    4. Loose skin

Our skin loses 200-500 mg of collagen every day. When the collagen in the facial skin is lost, it will cause the skin to become thinner and loose. At this time, the gold microneedle is very good for invasive stimulation, accurately stimulating collagen formation in the dermis, increasing the thickness of the dermis, and making the skin firmer.

The above are several strongly recommended indications. The following skin problems can be considered for gold microneedle treatment, but professional evaluation is required for appropriate use

    5. Acne

Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease of the hair follicles and sebaceous glands. For moderate and secondary acne, treatment can be chosen to destroy the sebaceous glands and increase the anti-inflammatory effect through the heat of microneedles. If the acne is mainly acne-type or pustules, cysts and nodules, it is not recommended because the possibility of acne breakouts will be significantly increased.

    6. Rosacea

Rosacea is also called rosacea. The heat damage caused by the radio frequency of gold microneedles may damage the blood vessels of the skin. For the erythematous capillary type, it can be selected as appropriate, but this kind of thermal stimulation often aggravates the skin’s adverse feelings. Under the high reaction of blood vessels and nerves, the erythema will become more prominent in a short period of time. Therefore, full communication and evaluation are required before considering the treatment of gold microneedles.

Due to the characteristics of gold microneedles, the indications are constantly expanding. Skin problems such as hyperhidrosis, hair loss, chloasma, and orange peel skin are all being tried. It is estimated that with the support of future clinical data, gold microneedle treatment will shine.
